When joining a tournament, participants are expected to obtain a special tournament account that is coloured purple and can be found together with real and practice accounts. You are able to switch between those if necessary. When a tournament account is not displayed, the event has an 'upcoming' status. That account is shown just after its start.
The account may contain from $100 to $10,000 depending on a particular tournament. Traders are free to invest those funds on their own. You need just to remember general rules of trading — i.e. a deal can be opened for just $1.
We don't recommend making hasty decisions that frequently lead to losing funds. On the one hand, investors should analyze the trading behavior of other competitors and understand their trading style while on the other hand, they shouldn't let other members pull ahead too much.
All competitors have the right for rebuys but there exist certain conditions when you are able to use that right:
- All participants are allowed to make a rebuy at the beginning of a tournament (such an option can be used once).
- During a tournament, a trader is able to rebuy when their tournament account contains less than was obtained automatically.
- The number of rebuys is not limited. Traders are allowed to use this option again and again to stay the course.
- The price for a rebuy is equal to the entry fee. For the tournaments without an entry fee, a rebuy costs $2.
